We had something very special to celebrate this New Year! After being awarded a Gold Medal by the Decanter World Wine Awards in June last year, Welgegund’s 2019 Old Vine Cinsault has been named one of the Decanter World Wine Awards’ top 125 global wines for 2022. It is one of only 7 South African wines, across all varietals and blends, to achieve this honour and we are thrilled!

This heritage wine is a time honoured combination of the carefully tended, characterful Old Vines, the intensity and complexity of the exceptional grapes these vines produce and the masterful hand of our winemaker.
