Welgegund Heritage Wines has launched a new red blend in memory of our special little dog Jack.

Jack loved life on this farm and every day here was an adventure for him. He explored the farm, went on long walks through the vineyards, joined in when guests visited and spent cooler evenings asleep in front of one of the fires.

This wine celebrates his life which ended here in 2021. A classic blend of Grenache Noir and Old Vine Cinsault, this is a youthful wine with spice, cloves, cardamom and sour cherries on the nose, a soft refined palate layered with liquorice and integrated, soft and well rounded tannins. A sophisticated yet accessible wine that complements most red meat dishes, is excellent with smoked fish and partners exceptionally well with pasta, pizza and spicy Indian style cuisine.
