Providence 2015 wins Silver at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2019

We are delighted with our achievement at the Concours Mondial De Bruxelles 2019 where our signature blend, Providence 2015 was awarded a silver medal.

Providence is a Rhône style blend of Shiraz, Cinsault and Carignan. The hand-selected grapes come from a collection of mature and vintage vines. The Carignan vineyard was established in 2003, the Shiraz vineyard in 2002 and Cinsault in 1974.

A brilliant, bright wine with fresh, red plum colours. Its displays complex aromas of mulberries, blackberries and black cherries but also shows red cranberries, cloves, nutmeg and a hint of pepper. The tannins are soft and extremely silky. This wine can be enjoyed now, with further ageing beneficial.

Strictly limited production of 4700 bottles.

“At Welgegund Heritage Wines our ultimate goal is to craft exceptional quality wines and everything we do is in pursuit of this goal. Receiving a Silver award at this prestigious competition, gives us welcome confirmation that we are solidly on track with our goals.” Friedrich Kuhne
